The Joy of Dancing

Weekend Kum Nye Dancing. Your mind will discover the treasures the body offers. Weekend with Ton van der Scheer and Jurgen Boetcher

By practicing Kum Nye Dance we can reach a point where joy becomes part of us, something we can call upon at any time. The flexibility we gain by practicing and performing a series of gestures from Tarthang Tulku’s book Kum Nye Dancing, allows joy to show itself freely in our bodies and feelings, even in times of trouble and adversity. In this weekend retreat we will develop and refine our talent for joy, in meditation and in movement. No longer hiding, but expressing.

We become one with joy, the expression of joy is our dancing.

“Wir werden eins mit der Freude, der Ausdruck der Freude ist unser Tanz.”

(Kum Nye Dancing gesture 73)

No special fitness or agility needed, suitable for all ages.
