Private stay

World Peace Stupa Project

“Mind and body both seem to need relaxation, especially in today’s world where the busyness of everyday activities generates much stress.” Tarthang Tulku

You are welcome for a stay at our center, just for relaxation and enjoyment of the beautiful nature, or for a tailor-made personal retreat program. We offer private guestrooms, a spacious living room, dining room, meditation hall and library, peaceful gardens and surroundings. You can participate in our morning yoga and if you want to help with any daily chores, please let us know.

We offer full board with delicious and balanced vegetarian meals, based on a healthy-planet-diet. Please inform us of any dietary needs you require.

Book a guestroom and enjoy a relaxing stay

The center is ideally suited for a relaxing stay in our private guest rooms, which you can book for yourself or together with family or friends. Breakfast is always included, as well as our early morning Tibetan yoga and meditation practice, with lunch and dinner offered as optional choices.

During your stay, you can enjoy the beauty of National Landscape Winterswijk with its many natural reserves. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails starting right at our door. The tranquility of the surroundings is perfect for reading, writing or quiet reflection.

Create your own private retreat

Do you need some time and space for quiet reflection, just by yourself? Our facilities and beautiful surroundings allow you to create your own personal retreat with time for study and reflection, yoga and meditation and exercise outdoors. You can book a midweek retreat and longer retreats in consultation. All meals are included, as well as our early morning Tibetan yoga and meditation practice. You can bring your own program, but we could also help you with defining an inspiring and relaxing program based on the teachings of Tarthang Tulku’s books and programs.

Restoring Balance

When body, breath and mind work together, well-being arises. This is a natural resource, so why do we so often feel so stressed, or tense? In three mid-week retreats you will learn how to restore and maintain that natural connection during everyday practical situations at home and at work.

This MindingWork training is designed for restoring your balance, empowering you with tools that will support you your whole lifetime. The three retreats focus on the balance of giving and receiving, thinking and feeling and doing and being. The practical and experiential instructions are firmly rooted in Kum Nye and Skillful Means teachings of Tarthang Tulku. There is also ample time for private practice and enjoyment of the surroundings. Preferably you participate in all three retreats during the course of a year, but you can also just take one.
